Jerry Lawler
Jerry O'Neil Lawler (born November 29, 1949) is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and color commentator. He is currently signed to WWE, where he serves as the color commentator on ''SmackDown'' and WWE pay-per-view events. Lawler is known throughout the professional wrestling world under the ring name Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Prior to joining WWE in 1992 (then known as the World Wrestling Federation), Lawler wrestled in numerous territories, winning 168 championships throughout his career. Lawler is also a former Thirty Two-time world heavyweight champion (one-time AWA World Heavyweight Championship, three-times WCWA World Heavyweight Championship & twenty eight-times USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship. Lawler was the first USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, he as AWA World Heavyweight Champion defeated the reigning WCWA World Heavyweight Champion Kerry Von Erich to unify the AWA & WCWA Championships into the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship and two-time AWA World Tag-Team Champion. Lawler has held more championships than any other current WWE wrestler, though he has never won any WWE championships since joining the company. In 2007, Lawler was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
